Write your State Representative #CBDANDVA

In a world where it's easy to feel like our voices go unheard, it's more important than ever to come together and advocate for what we believe in.

Writing a letter to our congressmen about CBD use for veterans is a powerful way to make a real impact.

By using the letter template provided below and urging others to do the same, we can amplify our voices and ensure that our lawmakers hear our concerns. Our veterans have sacrificed so much for our country, and they deserve access to safe and effective treatments.

The current VA policy prohibiting CBD use is leaving many veterans without access to this important treatment option. But by working together and persistently advocating for policy change, we can make a real difference.

Change doesn't happen overnight, but through our collective effort and dedication, we can make sure that our veterans receive the care and treatment they deserve.

Use your voice and encourage others to do the same.

Together, we can create policy change and make a lasting impact on the lives of our veterans.

          Template Letter

          Dear [Congressman/Congresswoman],

As a concerned citizen and voter in [insert state], I am writing to urge you to support the use of CBD as a treatment option for veterans in our state. CBD has shown great promise in treating chronic pain, anxiety, and PTSD, which are conditions that many of our veterans suffer from.

However, the VA's policy of not prescribing CBD to veterans has been a barrier to their access to this treatment. It is imperative that we take action to ensure that our veterans have access to safe and effective treatments for their conditions.

I am aware that enacting policy change in the VA to allow veterans to use CBD requires a concerted effort. It involves educating policymakers and the public, working to change federal classification, developing guidelines for prescribing and monitoring CBD use, developing best practices for medical professionals, advocating with veterans' organizations, and working with policymakers and legislators.

I am calling on you to take a leadership role in advocating for the use of CBD as a treatment option for veterans in our state. You can start by supporting legislation at the federal and state levels that will enable the VA to prescribe CBD to veterans.

I also urge you to work with medical organizations and professional associations to develop best practices for prescribing and using CBD. These best practices should be based on the latest scientific evidence and should provide clear instructions on how to prescribe and monitor the use of CBD.

Additionally, it is important to educate policymakers and the public about the benefits of CBD. Dispelling myths and misconceptions about CBD can help persuade policymakers to adopt it as a treatment option.

Moreover, working with veterans' organizations can help raise awareness of the benefits of CBD and put pressure on the VA to adopt it as a treatment option. These organizations can help ensure that veterans have access to safe and effective treatments for their conditions.

Lastly, I would like to encourage you to work with your colleagues in Congress to support research into the benefits of CBD for veterans. This research can help us understand how CBD can best be used to treat the conditions that many of our veterans suffer from.

In conclusion, I urge you to take action to ensure that our veterans have access to safe and effective treatments for their conditions. Supporting the use of CBD as a treatment option for veterans is a critical step in achieving this goal. I look forward to your response and to your support on this important issue.

          Sincerely,

          [Your Name]
